Ruimin Hu is currently a Professor and Executive Dean of Hangzhou Institute of Technology in Xidian University, as the expert who enjoys special allowances from the State Council, a Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering and a Senior Member of IEEE. His current research interests include multimedia network communication, security and surveillance technology, and big data analytics. In recent years, he leads the National Science and Technology Major Projec, the National Key Research and Development Program of China, and five the National Natural Science Foundations of China (Key Program).
